Brittany & Micah's Wedding at DeLille Cellars Chateau in Woodinville

9/25/2016

Brittany & Micah were married on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 at the gorgeous DeLille Cellars Chateau in Woodinville.  The day turned out beautiful, despite some rain in the morning (always good luck on a wedding day!) and the sun started shining through right on time.  Not that these two need luck - they are the dearest couple and so madly in love.  It was such an honor to be able to help Brittany's floral visions come to life.  Her gorgeous and simple white, green, and gold color scheme was so elegant.  The amazing gold polka dotted plates and gold flatware, the abundance of candles throughout the venue, the eucalyptus garlands strewn down the amazing farm tables, and the beautiful personal touches from the bride and groom all made this wedding so special and glamourous. Thanks to EVENTful Moments, Reyna Robyn Photography, Alexa's Cafe & Catering, Simply Sweet Cupcakes, DeLille Cellars and more for helping to make this day so awesome.  Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Hoffmann!!

Emily and Derry's gorgeous wedding day at JM Cellars in Woodinville

I had the awesome privilege of doing the flowers, decor and coordination for Emily and Derry's wedding yesterday at JM Cellars in Woodinville. They are an amazing couple who are full of such love and joy and it was such a pleasure to share their special day. It was full of fun, elegance, and romance and I had such a blast. I can't wait to see the professional pictures from Jeff Marsh, but had to share some of the photos I got on my phone at the event. I honestly can't get over what a gorgeous day it was. Simply picture perfect.

Beautiful Bride!

On August 2nd I had the privilege of creating bridal party flowers and being the wedding planner for the wonderful Jessica and Nick Miller!  Jessica wanted a bouquet that looked as if she'd picked wildflowers from a garden.  It was so much fun to use so much color!  It was such a lovely day and I can't wait to see the rest of the photos from the talented Lauren of Lauren Cross Photography.

I had the privilege of spending Saturday coordinating the wedding of one of the sweetest, happiest, most fun couples in the world - Rachel and Zack.  They kept on smiling through the few sprinkles that showed up before the ceremony and we were all so happy when the weather cleared up just in time for them to say their "I do's"!  Rachel's DIY centerpieces and wedding favors were beautiful, the photo booth was a blast, and the party kept going strong!  It was truly a fabulous event and I'm so happy and honored that I got to be a part of it.  I cannot wait to see more photos!  Congratulations, Rachel and Zack!  I wish you all the best and hope you have a blast on your honeymoon!

Fashion Friday - Special Edition!  10 Lovely Lace Wedding Gowns

2/21/2014

In a special edition of Fashion Friday, I thought I would share some beautiful lace wedding gowns!  Lace is having a major moment in bridal fashion right now and it is not hard to see why.  It is so romantic and feminine.  Whether it is an all over lace gown or just a touch of Chantilly lace at the sleeves, this is a fabric that feels inherently bridal.  Enjoy!

This gorgeous Folie Gown from the Elie by Elie Saab 2014 collection for Pronovias is classically beautiful!  It's 3/4 sleeves and off-the-shoulder neckline give it a look of vintage glamour, and the lace appliques are delicate and lovely.  This would look gorgeous at a classic church wedding, but could work for almost any venue.

This Onyx gown by designer Catherine Deane for BHLDN is so incredibly romantic!  With its delicate floral lace bodice and layers and layers of floaty tulle, this dress would look amazing at a garden wedding.  The lace detail on the back of the dress is just lovely!

I am just loving this ladylike lace peplum dress from Marchesa's Spring 2014 Bridal Collection.  The off-the-shoulder lace sleeves and pretty pencil skirt make this dress unique.  It would be fantastic for a  courthouse ceremony or a chic, urban wedding.

This simple and classic ivory A-line gown from the MILA collection by St. Pucchi has a beautiful lace bodice with ladylike cap sleeves.  The coordinating lace on the hem of the full skirt and train adds a lovely and elegant touch.  The large bow on the back of the dress makes this dress girly and fun.  The banded waist causes this gown to be very figure flattering.  This would be beautiful for a country club wedding.

The Anastasia gown from Oscar de la Renta's 2014 Bridal Collection with it's sassy silk faille trumpet skirt and lace peplum is sophisticated and daring while remaining feminine and romantic.  This is a gown that hugs your curves in all the right places and is perfect for a bride who does not want a poofy ballgown, but wants to look ladylike on her big day.  I could see this gown walking down the aisle of a classy wedding in a city loft or a fashionable hotel soiree.

Zac Posen has created an extremely enchanting lace and tulle ballgown for his Truly Zac Posen collection for David's Bridal.  The delicate lace detailing on the neckline and waist accentuate the beautiful tulle overlay covering the sweetheart neckline underneath.  The full skirt floats away from the body and is trimmed in the same Chantilly lace as the top of the gown.  A delicate bow belt over the corset bodice ties the look together.  This gown would look amazing at a grand affair in a ballroom or a lavish soiree at a large estate.

This Margaret gown from Vera Wang's Spring 2014 Bridal Collection is a daring choice for a bride who is not afraid to break from the traditional all-white wedding dress.  There are three kinds of lace on this gown, the first being a delicate floral lace on the top of the full tulle ball skirt. On the bodice, another, more geometric lace that is reminiscent of honeycombs highlights the waist, while striking black floral lace covers the bust of the sweetheart neckline.  The silhouette of this gown is very traditional, but I love the drama of this dress.  The black gloves are a daring choice, but could be left out for a less intense bridal look.

For the bride who loves the idea of a fairy tale wedding, this Snow White inspired gown from the Disney Fairy Tale Bridal collection for Alfred Angelo is a beautiful option.  This all over lace dress is covered in delicate netting and studded with crystals and sequins to give it a bit of sparkle.  This would look beautiful at a garden wedding or (of course) at a castle!

This ballgown from Allure Bridals' Couture collection is the epitome of feminine romance.  With it's tiered lace ball skirt and sweetheart neckline, this is classically bridal.  The waist is accentuated with a Swarovski crystal belt that ties in the back with a lovely bow.  This dress would look so pretty in a lovely garden or a rustic, vintage wedding.

The beautiful Leaticia gown from Monique Lhuillier's Spring-Summer 2014 Collection gives an air of vintage glamour.  The ivory lace embroidered sheath dress is classically lovely and the long sleeves are very on-trend.  The dress has an open back and is modest yet alluring.  With it's Downton Abbey feel, this dress would look lovely in a garden wedding at a lavish estate.
